UCI Summer Afternoon and Evening Classes
Only 2 more sessions left till fall, Get out on the water now
Most classes cost $70 for UCI students $85 for all others
 
Classes open to all UC students, faculty, staff, alumni and spouses. you may
also sign up a non affiliated guest to take the class with you. (Must be
over 18)
 
Sign up at the ARC sales desk, or over the phone at 824-3738
Please register before class begins
All classes meet at the Sail base: Directions with sign up
 
New session starts July 24th
 
Capri 1  Beginning Sailing:    July 24-Aug 4    MWF  5:30-8pm
This is where you start, no experience necessary. This is a fun and hands on
sailing class.
This is a great time to get out on the water.
 
Carpi 2    July 24-Aug 4  MWF 2-5pm
This  Intermideate class is a chance to polish your skills and you should be
ready for a capri rating at the end of the course.
If you are a bit rusty in the Capri's, this is a great class.  Small class
offers lots of tiller time and single-handed sailing. Pre requisite Capri 1
 
Keelboat 1/shields 1 July 24-Aug 4 MWF  5:30-8pm
This is the class to get you  started in the Shields. Prerequisite:  Capri 1
and 2 or a Capri  rating 
 
Last Summer Session  starts Aug 7
 
Capri 2   Aug 7-Aug 18    MWF 5:30-8pm
Pre- requisite:  Capri 1
 
Keelboat 2/Shields 2  Aug 7-Aug  18  5:30-8pm
This is the follow up class to Keelboat 1
More time on the boats, and get ready for you shields rating
 
Family Sailing  Aug 7-Aug 11  M-F  10-1pm
This class is for Parent and child class.( Adults can sign up by your self)
One Parent my register up to 2 children 
Minimum age: 11years
