Sailing: New sailing classes starting

Hello Sailing enthusiasts:
 
Several classes are starting next week ( the week of July 10, 2006)  and we
have just added a Capri 2 on Saturday.  Sign up for classes and encourage
your friends an co-workers too.  See the Campus rec web for additional
sessions at www.campusrec.uci.edu   Look in the outdoor section-sailing.
Also check out the UCI Sailing Association web page at www.sailingclub.net
There are a lot of great events coming up.
 
 
Please pre register for these classes, and remember you may sign up by Phone
at 824-3738. You can also go to the ARC, or call and have them FAX you a
registration form.  We need to know accurate numbers and you do not want to
miss out.

Keelboat 2     7/10/-7/21               MWF                5:30-8pm    
This Shields class is a great way to  prepare you for your S1 test, or to
brush up on your skills. There will be rating test prep included. If you are
working on a rating, this class will really help.  This is a good class to
take, even if you have had it before, you can get out and practice your
skills.
 
Shields "Light"   7/11-8/1               Tuesday        5:30-pm
This is a new class for those who have had a Shields class or previous
keelboat experience, and just want some relaxing evening sailing. 
Enjoy the great summer evenings.
 
Shields 4        7/11-8/1                Tuesday        1;30-5pm
This is the spinnaker class, take advantage of the good wind, and learn to
sail with a chute.
