Sailing: Work party, planning meeting and classes

To All UCISA Sailors:
There are 3 new events scheduled.
 
1.  Work party on the Shields:    This is a chance for us to do a complete
cleaning of  the shields,  light maintenance, and make lists for any
repairs. We especially want to help from all those who raced on the shields
this summer, but everyone is welcome.
Come for any or all of the time.
Plan to stay afterwards for the planning meeting, there will be free pizza.
RSVP to Joyce so I can plan for food. See below

2.  UCI Sailing Program Activities scheduling meeting
Following the work party, there will be a scheduling meeting upstairs in the
classroom at the Sail base. This will be a chance to set the Calendar, and
give suggestions for activities for the next year and help organize UCISA
events and program activities. Suggestions for  Racing, Fun sails, night
sails and any other events using the boats will be welcomed. This is your
chance to get involved. We hope to see anyone in the club/program there.
Time: 7:15-9pm
Please RSVP to Joyce especially if you want Pizza.
 
3.  Shields Class with Steve Reed "Advanced Boat Handling/Shields"
Includes Helmsmanship and sail trim for skippers and crew who want to sail
better than average recreational Sailors.
Dates:  Sat Oct 1 and Sun. Oct 2, 2005
Time:   12;30-4:30pm
Cost:    $23 UCI students $33 all others ( must be UCISA eligible)
Prerequisites: Skippers need S1 or better, Crew need Shields experience.
