In August 2003 my son died in a tragic and preventable incident. 
Recently, legislation has been introduced in the U.S. Congress that 
can help end these and other kinds of preventable tragedies in and 
around cars.  In honor of my son, I would like to ask all of you who 
live in, or are from, the U.S. to please consider contacting your 
Congressperson in support of this bill.
