the ideology of those Greeks from that Balkan minority in Albania and begins 
a terrible prosecution against ALL Greeks, including many from the area of 
Himara.

And so on..........as you can see, not all the Greeks of Himara, from that 
Balkan Minority in Albania, did co-operate, if indeed some of them did, with 
the Germans.
But definetely, most of them, did fight against the Communists being them of 
the EAM-ELAS ranks, or from the Communist "Fronti" of Emver Hodxa, aiming in 
the creation of an Independent Epirus-Makedonia, within the Soviet Popular 
Republics, of course.

<BR>Here some Greeks of that Balkan minority that did not co-operate or were=
 armed by the Axis, but indeed they fought against the Communists attempting=
 to separate Northern Greece and Epirus and establish a "Popular" Republic w=
ith the help of Stalin, Tito, Tempo, and Hodxa.

<BR>On July &nbsp;1942 five persons in Tirana Albania, create the famous MAB=
H ( Front for the Freedom of Northern Epirus), fighting the Italians, German=
s, and their Fascist first, and Communist later, allies of them from Bulgari=
a.
<BR>Among them, Anastasios Kokavesis, Attorney General from Himara, as well=20=
as an entire representation from Himara and from Argyrokastron, Korutsa, Del=
pino, Premeti, Leskoviki, Rizon, Vourkou, San-Saranta, Zagora, Pogoni.
<BR>Most of those Greeks from the Balkan minority in Albania, died later in=20=
the hands of the Communists of EAM-ELAS or were thrown in the jails of Emver=
-Hodxa after his prevailing in Albania.
<BR>
<BR>February the 12th, 1943, in the Monastery of "Theologos" a small confere=
nce took place among many Greeks from that Balkan minority in Albania, fight=
ing the Axis forces and....pretty soon those Communist ones as well. Accordi=
ng to our Theodoros Sarantis in his book "The Northern Epirus question and N=
apoleon Zervas" &nbsp;page 8, in that conference there was a representation=20=
from the Himara area.
<BR>
<BR>1943, the MABH organization, created by many Greeks from that Balkan min=
ority of Albania, and from people with origins from the Himara area, decided=
 to separate their ways from EAM-ELAS and fight with Zervas and his National=
 Front.
<BR>
<BR>John Ginalis, a doctor, is send in Greece in order to contact Zervas, an=
d ask for help and instructions.=20
<BR>Tasos Gakis guides him from Korytsa thru Leskoviki to the Greek village=20=
of Pagoni.
<BR>There he is arrested by the EAM-ELAS forces, and all of his papers taken=
 away. Ginalis was an EAM-ELAS prisoner for more than three months, after wh=
ich he was send back to Albania.
<BR>
<BR>From his papers the Communist EAM-ELAS learns about MABH's plans and its=
 people decided the elimination of those Greeks from that Balkan minority of=
 Albania.
