Hi Robert,

While this won't help you locate the polyps... Have you tried spawning
the adults to generate a culture in vitro? Could be easier said than
done, but it's a good way to begin to study its morphology and habits.

regards,
Michael

Subject: [Cnidaria] Information on Maeotias marginata polyps

Does anyone have any knowledge on the morphology and likely habitats of
M. marginata polyps. We (several students/researchers at University of
California, Davis) have been monitoring the adults in the San Francisco
Estuary, but have been unable to locate any polyps. Any information
would be appreciated!
Thanks
