I was thinking a little boloceroidid, too. Their tiny size and
swimming habit facilitate their getting around readily. Then, when
they arrive at some new spot, their rapid asexual proliferation
establishes them.

This happens at the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear plant in MD too. They may
have solved the problem by now (I don't know), but for many years they
had problems because of Chrysoara quinquecirrha
