[Cnidaria] HYDROID license plate?

Hello all,

A fellow invertebrate zoologist was near Yosemite in September and 
saw the California license plate reading HYDROID, but couldn't spot 
the driver. Now I am curious too. Who's got that? I have Washington 
MEDUSA.
