Dear friends in the jellyfish research community,

There is a new jellyfish keeping resource available, a book entitled How
to Keep Jellyfish in Aquariums: An Introductory Guide for Maintaining
Healthy Jellies. Written from the perspective of a seasoned
professional jellyfish aquarist with over eight years of experience, the
book is 212 pages long and explains in detail everything one needs to
know to be successful at keeping jellyfish in aquariums. In the book I
describe detailed instructions for growing 14 different kinds of
jellies, how to properly adjust currents in jellyfish tanks, how to
maintain cultures, trouble shooting jellyfish health problems and much,
much more. While not specifically written for the research community my
hope is that everyone who is interested in keeping jellyfish, their
scyphistomae, or hydroid colonies will find it a valuable guide from
start to finish.

The completed manuscript went to the printers yesterday and the book is
now available for pre-order at Wheatmark.com - in the bookstore section.
Just type the word jellyfish in the search engine and you're there.

(Estimated ship date 28 July 08). In a few weeks it will be available
on Amazon.com, Borders.com etc.

It was a lot of fun to write and my hope is that it will be useful for
anyone in the world who is interested in keeping healthy jellies over
the long haul.

With kind regards,
