We've never used tiny jellies but we use small numbers of cells
(dinoflagellates, amoebae and others) and the CTAB method seems to do
the best for us.
Not that problems don't arise but the results are generally more
reliable and consistent with the CTAB method.

Hello Cnidarians.

I am looking for  a reliable method to isolate genomic DNA from not
many and tiny medusas.

Would anyone be willing to share a nice-quick protocol  or (in your
experience) a commercial kitÆs name that best suit for genomic isolation
in jellies.   

Any help would be appreciated
