[Cnidaria] Mnemiopsis and parasite?

In populations around the coast of Massachusetts, RI and CT, it is unusual if 
they are missing. I think it's a cnidarian, an anemone, but I'm not sure.

Over the weekend (serendipitously) I observed free-swimming individuals, 
maybe either finding hosts or abandoning the crowd of mnemiopsis in our 
pseudo-kreisel tanks at the New England Aquarium.
