the species is Pelagia noctiluca, the same species that, this summer,  
caused enormous damage to the tourist industry in Spain. Now it is  
happening in the north. Evidently we are going through another  
Pelagia period, as the one that occurred in the early Eighties in the  
Mediterranean. Once more, we can say that we are shifting from a fish  
to a jellyfish ocean.
