Postdoctoral Position in Medusozoan Phylogenetics at the University  
of Kansas and Smithsonian Institution
A two-year postdoctoral position is available to participate in an  
NSF sponsored Assembling the Tree of Life project for Cnidarians  
(CnidToL). We are looking for an individual with a strong background  
in computational methods in phylogenetic analyses, molecular sequence  
analysis, bio/phyloinformatics, and invertebrate biology. The  
successful candidate will split his/her time between the University  
of Kansas (Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology) under the  
supervision of Dr. Paulyn Cartwright and the Smithsonian Institution  
(National Museum of Natural History) under the supervision of Dr.  
Allen Collins.

Review of applications begins September 30, 2007 with an estimated  
start date November 1, 2007
